mmm.

I just got an incredible hankering for Bumble and bumble styling lotion. This is the stuff they put on my hair when I went to that high-end salon. I smelled something just like it today, and it made me remember how much I liked the smell. It must have been the combination of the peppermint tea this morning, my hairspray, and my green tea cucumber lotion. mm, it was divine. Too bad the cheapest I can find the stuff is on ebay for like, 15 bucks... but it's so nice, and it makes your hair look nice.

Liz came up for the weekend, and she's just left. Yesterday, we got up, had waffles, did some morning DDR, folded my laundry and went to the farmer's market. They had some really beautiful flowers there... I really wanted a bunch, but it seemed frivolous to spend like 10 bucks on flowers. I wondered if the flower shop I went to was the one that Mark's wife owns. It must have been... the flowers were really lovely. After that, it was decided that we would have a barbecue, so we went to Wegmans, bought ingredients, went to the boonies of Dryden and picked up the Tone. went to Clark's, went to Lauren's house, and started cooking. Hamburgers and sausages on the grill, baked beans, some salads from Wegmans, and corn that I was too full to have any of. It was a good meal. We played a little threeman afterwards, liz got terribly drunk, and slept it off while we played euchre. Tom and I schooled grant and lauren in about 4 turns. Next time, the game will be better.. oh, I also WON at Mario Party. That is probably the only video game I have ever won at, maybe besides the car racing in the arcade. Whoo! yay for lucky breaks and lots of coins.

I went to bed around 11:30, woke up at 9:30 (what a nice sleep.) read a book, had some tea, nearly finished the book... Liz didn't get up until 2. I'm telling you, that futon is way comfortable. Can't believe noone wanted to buy that thing, but I'm glad I still have it!

Ooo! Oooooo!!! I talked grant into going to see March of the Penguins at Fall Creek later today! YAY! I for one can't believe it's playing near us, but am really glad it's at fall creek because i haven't been to a non-Regal theater this whole year. Well, we did go to the 1920's theater in Lake Placid, but we saw a mainstream movie, so that doesn't count.

I've decided I really don't like Prego spaghetti sauce. It's sweet and kinda nasty tasting. I am a Ragu person - remind me of that next time I go shopping.
